General terms and conditions of business

1. Scope of Application

These general terms and conditions apply to all services offered by Qi-Dog Keller. Registration for group walks, coachings, seminars, dog sitting, or other services is done via the “get in touch” online form or WhatsApp. Registrations must be confirmed to be considered binding. In principle, all dog owners can participate in the services offered by Qi-Dog Keller – exceptions reserved. During coachings, group learning walks or seminars, it is mandatory to pick up and dispose of your dog’s waste. Qi-Dog Keller reserves the right to refuse participants. If the number of registrations is too low, an event may be canceled. In extraordinary situations (e.g. weather conditions such as storms), a learning walk, coaching or seminar may be canceled.

2. Dog Health & Leash Requirement

Before participating in any Qi-Dog Keller service, every dog owner is obliged to inform Qi-Dog Keller of any behavioral issues their dog may have. Each dog must be microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and healthy. Any illnesses or pain must be discussed in advance. Bitches in heat must also be announced beforehand. Admission to group walks is at the discretion of Qi-Dog Keller. For the protection of humans and animals, Qi-Dog Keller reserves the right to exclude any dog or participant from group walks, seminars, or dog sitting. Leashes are mandatory during the entire session (coaching, walks, seminars). Dogs may only be off-leash if explicitly allowed by the instructor – at the owner's responsibility.

3. Liability Insurance & Disclaimer

Liability and accident insurance for the dog and handler are the sole responsibility of the participants. Participation in group walks, coachings or workshops is at your own risk. Qi-Dog Keller is not liable for accidents, damages, or illnesses. The participant is liable for any damages caused by themselves or their dog. Qi-Dog Keller is not liable for third-party damages. If dogs are off-leash and injuries occur, Qi-Dog Keller accepts no responsibility.

4. Dog Sitting

Every dog owner must have read, understood and accepted these general terms and conditions. Only dogs that are known to Qi-Dog Keller from a course or coaching are accepted. Every dog must be covered by adequate personal liability insurance. The owner is liable for any damage caused by their dog during the stay. In case of emergency vet visits due to accident or illness during the dog sitting period, the owner will bear the costs. Qi-Dog Keller is authorized to consult a vet immediately if necessary – at the owner’s expense. Dogs must not carry contagious diseases (e.g. kennel cough, fleas, giardia). If so, the owner must inform Qi-Dog Keller immediately, and dog sitting may be canceled. All dogs must be microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and protected against ticks. They must also be registered in the AMICUS system. Dogs in heat will not be accepted for dog sitting.

5. Payment & Absences

Fees for group walks, coachings, workshops or dog sitting must be paid in cash or via TWINT after the session. For dog sitting, the fee is due upon pickup. If payment is not received, Qi-Dog Keller reserves the right to exclude the participant from future events or services. In case of illness or accident, absences must be communicated to Qi-Dog Keller by phone or in writing at least 24 hours in advance – otherwise the full fee will be charged.

6. Disclaimer

All content on the Qi-Dog website is for informational purposes only and not exhaustive. Qi-Dog Keller assumes no liability for any damage resulting from the use of the website, images, training videos or content. Photos and videos taken during training walks, courses or dog sitting remain the property of Qi-Dog Keller. No guarantee is given for completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of the information.

7. Intellectual Property of Qi-Dog

Photos, documents and training videos on www.qi-dog.ch are the intellectual property of Qi-Dog Keller and are protected by copyright. Distribution or use of these materials without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
